MOTHER HOW ARE YOU TODAY ?

Mother how are you today.......
Here is a note from your daughter
With me everything is Ok
Mother how are you today.

Mother, Don't worry I'm fine
Promise to see you this summer
This time there will be no delay
Mother how are you today.

I found the man of my dreams
Next time you will get to know him
Many things happened, while I was away
Mother, how are you today.

I remember this song a lot, because my mom like this song very much and sometimes she was singing also to to remember her mother who passed away over 40 years ago. Today I was talking to her by phone, and I miss her so much...sometimes talking on the phone is not enough for me to share many stories with her.

Let me tell you about my mom....Her name is Sofia Ningsih, she was born in Cirebon over 50 years ago. She was a simple woman, kind hearted and hard worker woman that I ever know.....she was also my first teacher when I was child. She is housewives and even she never enter to the university to studying, but she know much about Business...especially to be an entrepreneur in food industry......I don't know where she can get that talent, but I think she had it from her parents....

Once upon a time, she telling me that in 1960s, our country, Indonesia was in chaos situation, because of political issued and economic crisis and also so many conflicts that happens during that year.....It was a difficult time for so many peoples to lives, especially for my mom family, my grandfather is working as Civil servant, he works for the government and at that time, his salary is not enough to support his family, It can be says that during that time, all the government employee had a very low pay salary. My mother had five brothers and two sister, when she was young she helped her parents to support her family, by selling antique second hands stuff.  Not so many items that she can sell, because not everybody needed it. But she never gave up, she do it for helping her parents.

From her story, I could imagine how hard she must be working at that time, she almost spent her time to help her parents. My mother is my heroine, since I was child, my mother raised me and my sister without any maid, she raised both of us with her own hands. When  I was child, she run a small business food in our house, she also taking an order to make some snacks for children for the school canteen. She works in the night hour after me and my sister sleep well. It always on my mind, when she woke up in the middle of the night and made so many kind of snacks.

No matter what they said, you are always a good mother for me and I am proud to call you my mother. Now I am become a mother.... I will raised my children with my own hands, and teach them with my ability.

Thank you mom for inspiring me,
Love you always,
